About the artist Arie Irani
Arieh Irani was born in 1965 in Haifa,Israel.
He is an expressionistic artist who paints paint on canvas.
Arieh paints mostly landscapes, portraits and abstract subject matter.
The paintings are from his imagination.
His inspiration came from his art training in Haifa.
From there he went to learn at the Museum of Art in Jerusalem.
At the age of 30 he moved to the city of Afula, in the north of Israel ,where he is learning and developing his color and drawing technique and expression.
Arieh is a member of the "Union of Painters and Sculpturers" of Ramat-Gan and Givatyim and also a member of the "Free Artists Association" of Haifa.
A film about his career and life with psychiatric disabilities was shown in a film contest held in Poland in 2008.
His art work appears in an international catalogue of the Gazette des art distributed all over the world. and also in a books fair in Montreal, Canada along with 80 other artists , All this in honor of Israel's 60 th anniversary.
The catalogue is available at "Steimatzky" and "Zomet Sfarim" books stores.
Arie presented his work on many solo and group exhebitions, all over Israel, which had been a success for Arieh.
He lectured for students of social-work in the University of Bar Ilan.
Arie works for a branch of " Home Center" during the day- and in the evenings he works for a large photo shop.
